I feel like Korean food often gets overshadowed by Chinese, Japanese, and this new, hip thing called "pho," but it's actually really good and poverty cheap. One of my current faves is this restaurant called Sunrise House.
This place has all the favourites - like pork bone soup, bibimbap, and bulgogi. But best of all, they have my most ultimate favourite soup! Behold! Yuk Gay Jang!
Yuk Gay Jang is basically braised beef brisket, beans sprouts, an egg, and Korean glass noodles in a spicy broth. As you can see, Koreans always give you plenty of goodies along with your meal as complementary appetizers; all for $8.25!
